Great packman clone! In fact, maybe the first done with CoolBasic. Graphics and animations are really cool, but windowed version would be good for huge screens. And I didn't find any clitches. Rating: 4,5 stars. Unbeleavable first game O_o

Wow, an excellent game indeed. The small resolution on full screen is only a good thing IMHO, gives this a nice tetro feel. I didn't encounter any problems or any drop in the FPS, and that is rare in CB games.

And I really respect you for writing this with CB, as it seems you don't understand finnish, in which the documentation for the language is written : D

This is awesome, especially for your first game! Graphics were neat, and not many cb-games have sound effects, either. Gameplay was cool too, but it would be better if the ghosts would follow you if they spot you, because like this it lacks challenge. Anyway, it's a pretty solid game, and if you added the ghost following (and maybe some calm Background music) this would definetly be worth five out of five stars, so keep up the good work! ;)

By the way, did you make the graphics yourself?

Edit. 200 posts of pure spam!

Hi,

graphics are by me.
If the ghosts would follow you, you had no chance to win this game.
The play field is too small for such an action.
background music is not so my thing.
I am not a good musician.
If you know free background music, maybe you give me a hint.
I prefer the Amiga ( *.mod) format.

Unable to set graphics mode as I have Widescreen screen (16:10). Windowed mode would be really good :)

Oh, I didn't noticed that version. However, my resolution is 1920x1200 so it is pretty big.

Well, now when I have tested this game I have to say that this is amazing to be your very first Coolbasic game.

I have Win XP Pro
Nvidia GF9800 2X card
the game will not load and it says (unable to set graphics mode)
It this one hard coded to something odd, or is there something else wrong?

Your screen/gpu propably won't support the resolution used by the game. I don't remember was it in the package, but if there is windowed mode, try it ;)

If you just had the patience to read the whole thread, you'd notice that there's windowed version also released...

But about the game: OH MY GOD! That is one of the best-looking game and I had real fun playing it. The sounds were nice, the ghosts looked funny ( ) and the whole atmosphere of the game was comfy. 5/5!!

I would like to see more games from you in the future!
