Just saying what is happening with this project.

And it will be released when it's ready. There isn't any news in Finnish side either, at least not about when it will be released.

The project is still going on although lately the progress has been slower than in the beginning and I'd say that is simply due to the summer. I cannot say any estimates (even if I knew I am not allowed to say anything) and I guess nobody else can either, it's still too early.

I do not believe that the summer has blame!
There was also winter and autumn. I think there is much to do.
I guess they have problem with practical implementation. That need time!

We will see what 2012 comes to us.

The development team is using their free time to work with CoolBasic. Also, many of us have a job as a programmer so after working 8 hours per day people usually want to do something else. Some of us are students who has also other things to do. I hope that you understand that all of us are volunteers.

It might look like the development team is not doing anything, but I can tell you that there have been some kind of progress every week. Sometimes less, sometimes more, but we are going forward. I cannot however give you any specific details.

Be patient. Some day...

Although we haven't been sharing info publicly for the past few months we're still having our regular meetings, and while everyone has their personal life to take care of, progress does happen. Slowly, but it happens. I personally, have been researching the wonders of 3d (game) programming for the past two or three months, but have also been working on the CoolBasic compiler again for about a week now. Actually, once I get a few remaining things implemented, I'll post a status update on the blog.

It's nice to hear about the progress and about next blog post coming in near(?) future. Is everybody from original team still in or has there been changes?

Nice to hear there are still some updates! Hopefully you get it done as soons as possible so our finnish code hamsters can get working on it.
